Project Description
Mr. Stowe created master plan for the campus. He planned the “Encampment Mall Monument” and the buildings surrounding it. Every building plan that was to be built had to go through Mr. Stowe to which he provided council on. He also chose the architect and the contractor for the projects.
The following buildings went through the council of Mr. Stowe. He also selected the architect(s) for them:
- Library, 2-story addition, architect: Kim Campbell, contractor: Bud Mahas
- Browning Learning Resources Center (completed about ~1987), architects: Leslie A. Stoker and William McMurrin, contractor: Bud Mahas
- Science Building addition, 1989: architect: Kim Campbell, contractor Bud Mahas
- Kenneth N. Gardner Student Center, 1984: architects: Leslie Stoker and William McMurrin (2002 addition made and designed by Kim Campbell), contractor: MGM Contractor
- Udvar-Hazy Business Building, 1996, architect: Steven M. Ehninger, contractor: Herm Hughes and Sons Incorporated1
